Imaginix – Real-Time AI Image Generation & Drawing Playground ✨
This was one of the most fun projects I’ve worked on. I combined the power of fal.ai’s image generation with the interactive magic of Excalidraw to build a platform where you can draw, modify, and generate visuals instantly.

fal.ai is absolutely goated (if only it wasn’t so pricey 😭)

What It Does

  • 🖼 Text-to-Image Generation – Type a prompt, get an image (within seconds).
  • ✏️ Draw + Generate – Combine freehand sketching with AI-rendered enhancements.
  • ⚡️ Real-Time Feedback – Every change reflects instantly — no reloads, no waiting.
  • 🎨 Excalidraw Integration – Drag, draw, erase, and overlay drawings seamlessly with AI-gen images.

Why I Loved Building This

This project was pure creative tech — I didn’t just code it, I played with it.
Blending drawing with AI opened up a whole new way of thinking about user interaction and visual creativity. Plus, it was satisfying to see everything work in real time.

It’s like Figma meets Midjourney meets MS Paint — and I loved every minute of building it.
